My graduation gift was a new lens for my Nikon D40. The lens broke during the begining of my senior year, and I never got it fixed it replaced. However, I never got one and it has been three months since I graduated. My birthday is in three days, so they made me a deal. They bought me a brand new camera I chose to be my graduation and birthday gift. I am paying the difference, but it is totally worth it. After a few hours of playing with it I can already tell I am going to love it so much more than my nikon. Plus, lens cost around 600 to 800 a piece, so buying a new camera with two lens for only 400 more was a better deal I'd say.
Expect more photos now that I have a better lens! <3
