MELROSE AVENUE

FUR COLLAR thrift
UNIF OUTSIDER SHREDDED JEAN JACKET unif
BDG KICK FLARE HIGH-RISE CROPPED JEANS urban outfitters
VELVET SOCK BOOT f21

I have grown to accept it. I am short.

It won't change, however, the jean industry needs to! I have to fold all my pants bottoms up so they can have my desired length. I could cut these but I don't want to chance not liking it later. These fit so comfy! A little bit of stretch, but not enough that when they are over-worn they start to get baggy. I bought mine in a size 25, which is my normal fit and they really do fit true to size. I just feel these clothing stores need to start selling shorter pants meant for us under 5'5". The reviews for these pants on Urban's website all state they too have to cut theirs. For pants (like my velvet trousers from TopShop) with more expensive fabric or cute hems cutting isn't an option. There are tailors...but not everyone can find a good one or afford it.

I hope everyone had a good new year! Mine was chill and spent with great people.

CARNIVAL

 MOSS TEE 10th Tribe
TIME TO SHINE SHORT FREE PEOPLE thrift store (more than half its original price!)

My best friend took me to the LA County Fair last Thursday. I have not attended one since I was much smaller. But as soon as I stepped foot into that ruckus my inner child came out. Only difference - margaritas!

I am wearing a few oldies and a few thrifted goodies. It was not as hot as it could have been, but definitely not jacket weather while the sun was up. I forced my friend to go on every ride as I wished because it was my birthday! Technically that day was not my birthday, but he took me FOR my birthday. He tried to badly to win me a large (even small) charmander. But instead I wound up with this baby dolphin.. Disappointed I had to hear a bunch of children run around yelling they loved their charzard (wtf kids, it's a damn **charmander) but I have to admit I would not trade it for anything.

Create your own Surplice Top

DIY SURPLICE TOP thrift

There is a top at Urban Outfitters by BDG that I have been dying to get my hands on. It is a thinnly striped, softest material, breezy surplice top. It costs, however, around $79 dollars. Fuck that.

I ignored the fact I wanted this tee because even though it appeared to be nicely made, it just was not worth it. Then I was walking around with my boyfriend one day and came across this stripped tee. Same stripes, soft material, yet not a surplice design.

I bought it oversized, unbuttoned it at home, stapled a few safety pins, and wallah
I got myself a $10 surplice top..

It isn't just like the one I wanted. It has its cheap flaws of not drapping correctly or not being sewn off. But I like it because I can unpin it and have another regular button down.
Two in one, BDG! ;)

LET IT REIGN

ALEXANDER WANG x H&M BUSTIER h&m
GRAMMY'S WHITE CROP TOP diy

Like I have mentioned, I am partially living in Hollywood and Palm Desert in the moment. I am finally willing to announce I am moving out of Los Angeles and going to start attending college in the summer!

My new room is not set up at all, and I have been sleeping on the floor so my cats aren't lonely in the room by themselves. The dresser above was all refinished by myself: from dark brown to gray. I can't wait to start a new chapter in my life (and to decorate a whole room to myself!).
