I am sad (but happy) to announce this has been my first 'Pride' event. ...shocking to myself, probably not you kitties but I am a very pro-equality supporter. So I am very late on my support game.

It was magical. Everyone was so nice and oddly even in the crowd people would apologize had they bumped you. Which is not a norm to me. I am not a dancer and and just wanted to photograph the moments. I set up camp (you could say) next to this gentleman that got the best spot in the crowd. He had his tripod set up with of course his camera. It was spread out like a spider and people drinking kept tripping over the legs. A woman around 45 and myself ended up subconsciously guarding his left and right all night directing peoples' steps around the it. The gentleman was very appreciative.

Another known fact by people I know personally. I am a drinker. I like to drink. Especially in social settings because I am just so sociably awkward. It eases the nerves. I was sober all night.

Not admitting to any drinking problem. I just have found myself a boyfriend and group of people I do not feel the need to party around in order to have a good time. I do not need to prove myself to anyone or force social interaction. My personality flows effortlessly with them. It is awesome. I did not have a drink all night and felt fantastic. A rare occurance my 21 year old self would have never dreamed.

Silly. I know. But a year ago I was in an abusive relationship (tmi) and after that experience faded I never saw myself moving on (again!). Just hold tight and listen to those words of encouragement. It works out!

CARNIVAL

 MOSS TEE 10th Tribe
TIME TO SHINE SHORT FREE PEOPLE thrift store (more than half its original price!)

My best friend took me to the LA County Fair last Thursday. I have not attended one since I was much smaller. But as soon as I stepped foot into that ruckus my inner child came out. Only difference - margaritas!

I am wearing a few oldies and a few thrifted goodies. It was not as hot as it could have been, but definitely not jacket weather while the sun was up. I forced my friend to go on every ride as I wished because it was my birthday! Technically that day was not my birthday, but he took me FOR my birthday. He tried to badly to win me a large (even small) charmander. But instead I wound up with this baby dolphin.. Disappointed I had to hear a bunch of children run around yelling they loved their charzard (wtf kids, it's a damn **charmander) but I have to admit I would not trade it for anything.

Outfit on a Budget.

I am not a saint when it comes to buying clothes. I used to buy over $400 worth of things per month back when I was an idiot. I have learned to overcome my shopping addiction slowly but surely and now I perhaps spend under $40 bucks per month!

The outfit I am wearing is very basic yet fashionable. I am wearing what most people can find in their own closet. The difference between most and mine, however, is my outfit is under $15. Yep. This including: free sweater from yard sale, $1 shorts from Goodwill, $5 sunnies from local shop, hand-me-down belt from my mama, $5 yard of string (for choker) from Jo-anns and a genuine leather COACH purse for only $3 at a yard sale.

I am not the biggest fan of shopping only name brands. I think a lot of rags could and can be made into riches ;). The first thing I overcame was looking in my massive collection of clothes and realizing I wear the same thing over and over and such expensive articles of clothing go to waste! I would buy something and never wear it. But I HAD to have it...

I am the biggest fan of thrift stores. And no, not just LA ones. LA I find good peices, ones I never could think would be so cheap! It is a dream what I find out there sometimes. But what comes with LA is a lot of overpricing. I love to find back alley thrift stores that sell items for cheap. For example, Goodwill is widely popular but the shorts I am wearing were only a dollar! A damn dollar and they are exactly the trend.

All I would like to finish out with is an outfit should not wear you, you should wear the outfit. You can make literally anything look good if you give it a try and style it correctly. No need to empty those bank accounts!

A Quick Look-See of my New Apartment.

I love living alone.
No judgement.
No rules.
Silence and the ability to walk around topless.

I am now living in an apartment I found and couldn't resist. I am not going to inform anyone of my location due to a crazy bitch I knew, but let me just say it is the greatest location I could have wished for.

I moved in fully but am still looking for the final details. My painting corner is my absolute favorite spot. My bathroom being my close second. I really put my touch to these spots. My least favorite, the kitchen. Only due to the awkward, limited space. I have a beautiful lamp I purchases at iKea. It has a reflectant, gold inner lining with black, cutout outside. I love it, but I wish the kitchen to become a lot cuter.

Just wanted to show a few photos of my favorite details. Small, but totally cozy and to my standards.
