The last month has been eye opening. I have lived at my sister's, trapped in my mind, realizing I am becoming someone I used to so deeply despise. So I came back home, cleaned out my room (my best stress remedy) and am trying to get myself back on track.

Ending the trip with this beautiful sunset over in Pismo Beach, Ca. Woke up at 11 and come to find out the hotel checkout was AT 11! So I had to skip out on a shower, since everyone else took so long, and we jumped in the car as quickly as we could. Especially since the hotel manager came up to our room three times waiting on us to leave. The most we could say was sorry dude and move along. We were going to spend the day in San Francisco, but I believe the old couple, my sister and her boyfriend, were too tired and not excited for the long drive back home. They ate two servings of Chicken&Waffles and then we were out!
I hope everyone had a great New Year, and looking forward to the 2012 to come.

Spent New Years in San Francisco! We did nothing. We ate at iHop since it was the only place open, I wasn't complaining however, and did not celebrate. We had the most awkward server, ate yummy food, and went back to the hotel and passed out. Besides having an uneventful night, we had a great first day in San Fancy walking Haight street the whole day and catching buses. San Francisco is so beautiful! I wish I could live there with my two cats and an alaskan husky I could go on jogs and walks with.

I can dream.

     The only thing I truely enjoy on Christmas is all my family hanging out with one another. My mom, dad, brother, sister, her boyfriend, and my two greatest aunts ever known to existence!
     Besides that I do not find myself to be enthusiastic about Christmas as I was when I was young.
     We ate delicious tri-tip steak my dad prepared to perfection, opened presents, our stockings, and watched the Lakers all day for the sack of my dad, aunt Kelle, and Jesus (my sister's boyfriend). I got new tires for my car, a itouch 4 (first I have ever owned), and some really nice little nick-nacks.
     I hope all my followers had a great Christmas, if you are a celebrator, and have a great new years! My new years will be spent in San Fransico! Can not wait. Til next post, farewell.

So there is this girl I used to know, and well we are definitely not friends anymore. She stole my clothes, my sister's clothes, and when confronted turned into a hermit crab and ran away from her problems. I've mentioned her in posts previously.

I searched my "if it's illegal to rock and roll, throw my a$$ in jail" and guess what I found...a link to that same girl's blog on tumblr. I clicked it, and found she used the quote under one of her personal photos. Now you can say "That is a common Kurt Cobain quotation!" but she also used the *$ sign. (see mine here)

So of course I got curious, and looked some more. I saw another one she named "Self exposure." That sounded awfully familiar as well. And underneath her photo she put "trying something new." I wrote the exact thing word-for-word on my lookbook post "SELF EXPOSURE." (see this one here)

Then looking through her blog I spotted three images I had put into an inspiration post that her tumblr had no hits on all in a row. Meaning, she saved them, then uploaded them to her blog on tumblr, and did not reblog them from previous users. A bit too much of a coincidence you think?

Now, I know all of you followers could care less about this...but she is obviously scoping my things...meaning she will read this. And I just want her to know I know.

Estate sales and yard sales are better than the thrift stores! Cheap, classics, personal items these people held dear, and unbelievable finds. Did I mention cheap? I have been collecting vinyls, weather I am dying for the album or not. Like the Tina Turner, she is popular and I like a few songs, so I added her to my collection. I found a couple Police albums, a thrashed Beatles (but I will be making it into deco), greatest classical hits, Tina, Heart, and a Frank Sinatra I gave to my ex because well it is an inside joke I made up. He loved it, so the joke was a success!

Visited the Salton Sea with my aunt Renee on Wednesday. I loved it and played with the mud pot mud. Softest mud I have ever touched. My strange childhood tendencies came out of me :3 Also climbed down a ditch and ran through a wash drain. I was wearing my Sam Edelman heels the whole time...only regret was how dirty they got! Decided to stay at my aunts' house for the rest of the week. What is the point of driving home when I am going to just drive back a day and a half later? Decorated trees yesterday and a majority of today. They looked really good and the customers looked satisfied. Enjoying "the perks" my aunts like to call all the special treatment I get while I stay here. Tomorrow I am off with my aunt Renee to some landmark, forgot the name. She has been going on and on about landmarks ever since I said America is ugly. Which I only said cause I saw the photographs my aunt Kelle took in New Zealand/Australia. If you compare the US to them, yes, it is ugly. Anyways, hopefully I can get good shots tomorrow of this landmark.

Pasadena on Black Friday, was not as crazy as I expected. Although we did not get there until 12 o'clock. I have never gone shopping on a Black Friday, so I did not know what to expect. Davis dyed his hair blonde, inspired by Rhianna's We Found Love. I am jealous, I wish to go blonde so badly.
I really need to hire a photographer (not being serious). I am just never in the photos..I am nonexistent. I am the only one with a nice camera in my group of friends so I am always in control of it. My fault, I just need to get more aggressive and not so awkward and ask them! None of us bought anything, well, Chris-tinka bought MAC lipstick. Many compliments and stares directed to Davis, as usual. He is one of the bravest people I know which makes me admire him so much more. Besides the fact that on the way home he unbuckled his seat belt and reared his a$$ against my front window and "twerked" it to Girl Talk All Day. WOW.

I feel really stupid when I ask someone to take a photo of me, so in return my photo comes out looking stupid. I was not born to be in the limelight, that's for sure. Next time I go to Disney, I either want to bring my own companion, or just not go. Going in an odd number sucks, especially with a couple... My pass expires January 9th though, so I need to get my use out of it! Also, I will never be ordering food at Disney again. My 5 dollar french fries was much more appatizing than the 20 dollar seafood crepe I got. I wish I had a time machine to go back and save my money!

Mm-mm-mmh! Chipotle is quite delicious. Since I was fired (due to unjustified reasons) I have not been spending my savings on anything. But I can not resist Chipotle. Tonight's burrito was especially good cause it was more room temperature. I stack my burrito with rice, pinto beans, steak, sour cream, cheese, and mild&hot salsa. Everyone tells me how gross mine looks, but I guess that just means no one will ask for a bite. Davis and I later made a stop at Albert-sons, where I found Davis's check-out to be a bit humorous: candy and polish.
Davis then showed me these two music videos. Rhianna's "We Found Love" and Iggy Azalea's "My World." Not much a fan of either, but both videos are excellently filmed. He is obsessed with Iggy.

I am not looking my finest, or at all stylish, but this was what occupied my time last week. My sister cleans dog and cat teeth for a living. She drives to grooming shops and works maybe the most four hours usually. It is anesisia free, so it is beneficial to the animals and the owner (no risk or pricey bill). She makes AMAZING money, so I am in training to do it while I attend college and get myself situated. Not exactly something I want to do, but it will be convenient and will help her out too. We went to a dog shop with this large black cat that meows and meows until you pet it. It is the cutest thing.

Quick post, tried my new makeup: Make Up Forever ROUGE lipstick, Too Faced SIZE Queen Mascara, and Nars MONT BLANC Sheer Matte. So far I really love the lipstick, like the mascara, and am if-y about the foundation. It is kind of streaky, so I have to mess with it for a bit more. Or else, back to Sephora it will go.

I want to aim toward a more laid back look. I hate looking like I try, which sounds odd, but there is no other way my brain can explain. I want more metal jewelry, bulk pieces, slouchy jeans/shorts, tight jeans, high high high heels. I want my heels to be the eye catcher and everything else to tone it down. Then my makeup will also be a little more interesting, not as boring as I always do it. My makeup really white and blended (I SUCK at makeup) or get tanned. Tanning won't happen, so I will work my pale magic. Spider leg eyelashes and nice hair. My hair needs work too...

I love taking photos of people, however, I am never in them! I'd get embarrased anyways, so I guess I should not complain. But still, it is like I wasn't there. Anyways on Friday I hung out in Rancho with Davis, Stinka, and Michelle. They are all their own characters (especially Davis and Michelle). We listened to Lady (what a torture) and got yogurt! All the children were talking sh*t to Davis for wearing heels. But whatever, they were told off. They were only middle schoolers, so they don't know yet. Just brainwashed by parents to hate certain people. In all reality, their loss!

Ordered some jewelry, a couple hats, and a top from ASOS! They had the discount HAPPYLFW for London Fashion Week and it was used happily, but stupidly. I spent too much. But a great thing about ASOS, free shipping and free returns. Also ordered a gift for my friend's birthday. He got me lovely things, and I have to try to make it up to him. My humorous part of my gift fell and broke and I am looking to replace it, but so far no good.

Last Monday I spent the afternoon and night with my sister at her appartment. Our friends Carolyn and Kasey came over and we spent the day chatting, watching movies, eating, and enjoying ourselves. We made dip that was delicious! But we went outside for Kasey's smoke and when we came back in my sister's dog Leia (the blue eyed pup) had one of the dips under the table licked clean. Then Zoe (the blue eye/brown eyed pup) had the pther one in her mouth! So that was ruined. Thank God her neighbor came over (a culinary student!) with a deliecious meal she prepared. She saved our appetite.
I always say I hate girls I would rather chill out with boys, but a girls' night must happen more often. I just need to choose my girl friends wisely.

I skinned the monster under my bed.

It crept and tormented the thoughts in my head.

The beast stayed hidden and I rarely made a peep,

until one night I snuck a peak.

I waited til it slept to pull up the covers,

and what I saw I never thought I'd discover.

The beast had long black fur, beautiful as night.

And its fangs sparkled and were a magnificent sight.

The monster was large and scary,

But the greed inside me was un-bearing.

I pulled the beast from under my bed,

eyes flaring with lustful red.

It fought but it only made me dig my claws in deeper

The tide has turned, and I was now the reaper.

I skinned the monster from under my bed.

How it was done is better left unsaid.

Now I wear its teeth around my throat,

and its hide as a long warning coat.

Monsters no longer try to scare me,

Nights can finally be slept soundly.

I got so bored, and I thought I could write a quick poem for my next look. I wanted to have a theme. So that is what I got...haha. Note: It was written in 5 minutes, so bear with me! You can comment on it if you like with suggestions, wheather you hate/like it. It was just for fun!

I also purposefully made my upper lip darker. I like it like that, just need to find the right color! Enjoy the post.

I am never fond of my own birthdays. The one thing I find joy out of it is that I am classified (and truly am) a virgo. Otherwise, I really don't care for it to be mentioned. I hate being the center of attention. I did appreciate my lovely diner at Ocean Blue. Mmm, my sushi was delicious I ate two rounds! My mom got a seaweed salad that I really liked too! Good to have the family all together once in a while. My mom's friend made me her special mud brownies that are to die for! So tomorrow I will be digging in!

My graduation gift was a new lens for my Nikon D40. The lens broke during the begining of my senior year, and I never got it fixed it replaced. However, I never got one and it has been three months since I graduated. My birthday is in three days, so they made me a deal. They bought me a brand new camera I chose to be my graduation and birthday gift. I am paying the difference, but it is totally worth it. After a few hours of playing with it I can already tell I am going to love it so much more than my nikon. Plus, lens cost around 600 to 800 a piece, so buying a new camera with two lens for only 400 more was a better deal I'd say.
Expect more photos now that I have a better lens! <3

     Spent the evening and night at Disneyland with my sister Jessica. We both have passes, but my So Cal pass was blacked out all summer! It finally is alowing me to go again - phew. I am not exagerating, I was the only girl in heels in the park I saw ALL DAY. One girl in the shopping area outside of the parks had on some 2 inch heels, but no one was wearing them inside either parks. I probably overdressed for the hot day with the walking we would be doing, but I hate not looking my best. I look awful in the photos, but I get so nervous taking pictures in front of anyone... The last one reminded me of the typical Larry David pose. haha.
     We ate McDonalds for breakfast. I have been eating my meals the same way all my life and never have ordered anything different. Cheeseburger plain with two slices of cheese and french fries. Once my burger is gone, I won't eat my fries. Once my fries are gone, I can't eat my burger. I got my sister in the same habit too. So We took some polaroids of ourselves at the McDonalds. And in the parking lot on the way out there was the cutest pink car. Or at least, I thought it was cool. And the reason I call rhe belt my gypsy belt is cause it for 1 reminds me of it, and 2 on our way into our car a woman in a car stopped me and said I needed my fortune told.
     And I must add, these jeans from UO are my favorite pair! They are high waist with absolutely no stretch. I hate stretch jeans. They are a faded black, which is a slight downfall, but whatever. All my jeans fade to gray sometime.

New earings.

Got these feather earings made up of the rainbow. I am never one to wear so much color, but I figured with a good black outfit these would fit in nicely. Also, desided the photo-booth photos with it would make the photo a bit more interesting.
The photos are of my siblings and me, my sister and me when we were young, and a tightly-bound group of friends (Davis, Christina, Miranda, and me) in a Forever 21 photo-booth. Bad choice making the photos black and white. They would also kill me if they knew I posted this.

My friend was looking through this magazine and I thought the photography in it was so beautiful and inspiring I had to buy it. The Jim Morrison photo is my absolute favorite. The original Morrison photo is breathtaking. So to reproduce that image with almost the same intensity is impressive.
I never ever buy magazines. This one, however, was money well spent.

Polaroid Fun

I bought the FUJIFILM Instant Camera instax 210 from UO maybe two weeks ago. It was around $150 for the camera and $40 bucks for a 2 in 1 case of film: 20 shots. It has an option for flash, to adjust the lighting, and the range of shot with two settings. It came with a little lens cover so the images can be close up with a mirror attached to it, but the mirror already fell out! I am hoping to go into the store and ask to replace just the mini-lens, but I have a feeling they won't let me. I lost the receipt....
The camera is well worth it though! I love the antique feeling I get from it every time a new photo processes.

DIY: distressing jean

Used a trick I picked up from another blogger about using a cheese grader to make rips and tear in your jeans. It worked out well, but not as planned. It made them have fuzz around the rips, and I had to get my scissors and scrap it to make it rip a bit more. This ran the scissors just above the surface to cut off extra fuzz. Anyways, they are not finished yet, still planning to distress the back and fold a bit more. I do plan to figure out a better way to grind them though, cause I accidently graded my fingers without even taking notice. They are sore now.

I recommend NO ONE buy shoes from F21. They are cheap and cute, but they are cheap because they were made cheap. They fall apart QUICKLY. Anyways, I took my car out to a lonely hillside to take these. I couldn't risk anyone driving by and seeing me..haha. I used my car as the "tripod" because I was too lazy to set it up. These were my results.

Dealer Estate Sale

Since my mom is a dealer, she was invited to an exclusive estate sale at a house about a minute from our own. It was full of antique hats, languirea, clothes, and shoes. I made out with valuables that fit me perfectly. The scarf was from my mom, however. It is real rabbit fur...so I am not sure if I am going to keep it. I would never buy 'new' furs, but ones that come from vintage stores I make an acception. They are so old and already made YEARS ago when it was accepted. I don't know, not a lot of people agree with my views, but whatever. At least I am not out buying new ones promoting the buisnesses now-a-days.

I wear scuffed-up shoes with as much pride as a girl in her brand new Louis Vuitton. I like my stuff to looked worn (aka loved) ha. This is the first outfit within the last few years I wore in public that contained NO black. But I loved this outfit today. This was my favorite top, until it went missing for a month or so and I found it in my so-called "friend's" hiding spot in her room with a TON of other clothes and jewelry she stole from my sister and me. She ripped this shirt to shreds by, I am guessing, trying to stretch it out? There are so many holes and the whole seam is torn at the bottom. Not to mention, I also found this purse at her house... -_-'

I usually take all the photos for my looks. I get very uncomfortable in front of the camera knowing someone is watching my every move through the lens. But I loved this spot and I took my brother out, so I made him take these of me. He is probably the only person I would trust to take them. Everyone else doesn't listen to what I want or I get too nervous. Anyways, that's him behind me in the last shot. He did not want me to post any photos of him because he said "Look at what I am wearing!" So, to give him props, he dresses way nicer than shown. My siblings and I are the biggest dorks/nerds anyone could meet. That photo is just a glimpse of his bizarre personality.
